“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your strength comes from God’s grace, not from rules about food, which don’t help those who follow them.” – Hebrews 13:8-9
What has remained the same over the course of Time? The answer?
Jesus
He is the same yesterday and today and forever. His character never changes, His goodness never fades, His grace never runs dry, His words never lose meaning. His power over sin and death and shame endures and overcomes all things. With that truth in mind, it gives us sure footing on which to stand and the strength of spirit to endure.
