Daily Devotional- It’s Okay… to NOT Be Perfect

This started with a request for devotionals around the idea of it being okay to fail. As I prayed through this, it seemed that Holy Spirit was telling me that the request was actually much deeper. Therefore, this will be a multi-part devotional.

Have you ever become discouraged by what seemed to be a growing mound of mistakes? Did you feel slaughtered from an attack of accusations of being a failure in everything you do? And if you think about Jesus being perfect and having it easy, you really begin to feel the weight of your failures.

But are they really failures?

Join me as we begin a journey; a journey that “It’s Okay”.

What is Holy Spirit saying to you?

Reference Mark 6:1-3, Isaiah 53:2 and Hebrews 4:14-16

Thank you for joining us each day as we share lessons that Holy Spirit is bringing or has brought to us. And be sure to check out tomorrow’s devotional.

Daily Devotional- Provision Beyond What We See

“Yahweh is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23:1‬ ‭TPT‬‬

So many times we take a look at what’s in our hands and see only what’s in our hands. However, Jesus sees provision that’s more than we actually need.

Check out how Jesus addressed this with the disciples as we review a few stories in the book of Mark (Mark 6 and Mark 8). What’s in YOUR hand that seems small but Jesus can bless? What is Holy Spirit saying to you?

Thank you for joining us each day as we share lessons that Holy Spirit is bringing or has brought to us. And be sure to check out tomorrow’s devotional.

Daily Devotional- Accomplishing the Impossible

“Look!” he said. “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them!” Genesis‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The story of The Tower of Babel is found in Genesis 11:1-9. Our focus is on verse 6 where we learn that the people were united in their goal because they were speaking the same language. The result was that that nothing would be impossible for them.

The hearts of the people were not for God and their tower wasn’t to bring Him glory. God saw they were heading in the wrong direction so He took action. And in doing this, God revealed 3 important things to us and we find those in verse 6. Listen in to learn how we can use those same 3 things and bring about a result that glorifies God.
